Benedict XVI, Anti-American
Working too hard, even for those leading the Catholic Church, is bad for the spirit, Pope Benedict XVI said Sunday as he greeted tourists at his summer residence outside Rome.
I don't see anything anti-American about having a summer residence outside of Rome. In fact, having an opulent summer home to retreat to is the American dream! He's obviously a crass materialist at heart.
