Support the Post Office Strikers
Why should working men and women be treated like "objects" by business managers. The economy exists for us: we do not exist for the economy.
And damn Peter Mandelson.
We need a Left and a Right party in the UK: not three Tory parties.
They were close to agreement when the talks broke down and these resume monday.
I was a postie for a year in the 90s and I sympathise particularly with those who now are being told they have no sorting to do, solely delivering.
The service must be maintained and ways to extend its services should be sought, with agreement. Door to door deliveries offer economies as transport costs rise.
Best to make any diamond cut more ways, and Royal mail is a diamond, as the victims of City Express etc should aver.
